DTX-MULTI 12 features new percussion sounds that have been collected through Yamaha's advanced sampling techniques and ready-to-use effect sounds for a grand total of 1,277 voices. It includes not only digital sounds but also DJ sounds and a rich variety of voices from percussion, chromatic percussion, folk, and acoustic drum instruments. With 128 different MIDI playing patterns from a range of musical genres, you can start and stop patterns by simply striking the pads.
Then comes the multiple playing modes that enable performers to express their talent with ease. Explore the Stick mode, hand mode, finger mode and muting feature. In addition to this, the Stack mode stimulates creativity as all notes assigned to a pad can be triggered simultaneously with one strike. The DTX-MULTI 12 deploys Steinberg’s Cubase AI 5 software which can be controlled from the front panel. You can customize the multi pad to suit your needs, it comes with trigger-input jacks that 5 external pads can be connected to including one foot switch jack and one hi-hat controller jack.
